Please check out their respective galleries, they're brilliant!

I like to draw people pulling weird or funny expressions - so this was ideal.

I just used basic mechanical pencils, a regular rubber, and sketchbook paper.

Contrast was slightly altered in Photoshop due to a bad scan.

(I also quite like the splatter at the top of the picture - the result of taking my sketchbook out in the rain. Oops!)

Was it that dark when you drew it, or is that a result of the bad scan you mentioned?

It's almost that dark naturally, the bad scan made it a very generic grey - I'll upload the un-edited version to my Scraps sometime in the near future.

...this was absolutely terrifying to see as a lil thumbnail while I was browsing, so I had to click. It's so very expressive, you're really good! I am particularly impressed with the crooked teeth- it could pass for a photo run through a silly photoshop filter ;) I do feel like the more open eye is a little too open, though. Or maybe that's what you wanted.... it certainly is good for the "this thing gives me the creeps" effect. :)

I would never have the patience to do anything like this - that's why I think you're so awesome. I think the splatter looks intentional. And the eyes are obviously really good, they and the teeth are my favourite bit. :)
